MASTER DEGREE PROGRAM (18-24 Months)

A student must have earned a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with sixty (60) credits in Biblical studies and/or Bachelor in Theology/Religious Education before entrance into the Masters program.

Requirement for graduation:

  • Forty eight (48) graduate hours with at least a "B" average.

MASTER OF ARTS IN PASTORAL COUNSELING (M.P.C.)

Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling develops counseling skills designed to enhance your ministry in a variety of settings, including as a pastor, lay-counselor or chaplain. Our Christian counseling degree is designed for those who plan to pursue vocations in congregation-based ministries or non-profits. 

MASTER OF CHRISTIAN COUNSELING (M.C.C.)

The Master of Christian Counseling is designed to prepare the student to serve in Church or Community settings. The training will address emotional and relational needs, and their functioning in a variety of settings using both biblical and psychological principles.

MASTER OF DIVINITY (M.DIV.)

The Master of Divinity Program prepares the student for full time service in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. It allows the student to train either for the general pastorate of a local church or for a specialized ministry as a staff minister. In addition, it enables the student to meet the range of denominational requirement for ordination.

MASTER OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION (M.R.E.)

The Master of Religious Education program will equip students to explore and understand biblical foundations to effective Christian Education. Students will be able to formulate a biblically based philosophy of Christian Education ministry for home church, school and develop skills essential to competent Bible teaching and administration in Christian organizations.

MASTER OF THEOLOGY (TH.M.)

The Master of Theology program is designed and will produce competent Bible expositors who are qualified to serve God effectively by edifying the body of Christ as apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, missionries and other leading areas of Christian ministry. Knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the biblical, historical, theological and practical aspects of the Christian faith are general objectives.

DOCTORAL PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS - (2 - 3 Years)

Applicant must hold a Master Degree in Biblical Studies. If it is a secular degree, then a Biblical Masters program must be completed.

Applicant must submit an application essay of at least 1,000 words in length concerning:

conversion, call to ministry work, concept of ministry work, summary of ministry service, specific reasons for desiring to enter the program and the effect which the program is expected to have on the applicant's ministry.

Applicant shall also include three letters of reference and evaluation of potential for doctoral study from colleagues, pastors and a former professor.

Required before graduation: Students must submit a 50,000 word thesis at least three (3) months before graduating from the Doctoral Program.

DOCTOR OF CHRISTIAN COUNSELING and PSYCHOLOGY

The Doctoral program is designed for persons holding the Masters Degree who have had significant experience in Theological - Biblical studies. The student is expected to build on previous studies and ministry experience in order to attain higher levels of competency.
